The Publication
Editorial Standards
The rules we hold ourselves to. They’re short because they’re firm.
Disclosure
Where a vendor relationship exists that a reasonable reader would want to know about, our standard is to disclose it in line — in the article, where the claim is made, not in a footer nobody reads.
Reviews and buyer’s guides
When we review tools, we say so up front — reviews and buyer’s guides are labeled as such. We evaluate against criteria that matter to working finance teams: real-time visibility, ease of use, integrations, and whether the tool actually shortens the distance between a question and a decision.
Sourcing and accuracy
We write for practitioners, and we hold the copy to a practitioner’s bar: specific claims, named tools, real workflows. Product claims are checked against vendor documentation and product material. When the facts change after publication, we update the piece and note it.
Sponsored content
If we publish paid or partner content, it is labeled unmistakably.
Corrections
We correct material errors promptly and visibly. If we got something wrong, tell us: editor@theforwardreport.com. Corrections that change the substance of a piece are noted on the piece itself.
